Just a quick blog today as I'm seeing friends then seeing Gma, isn't it ridiculous how 6 weeks holidays get filled up so quickly? This week was one of those weeks where I had nothing planned and now it's completely full!
When I was younger I really really really wanted to be a popstar and my dream job may still be to be in Girls Aloud! But seriously I'm currently reading a really good book that I can thoroughly recommend. It's called 'Eat Pray Love' by Elizabeth Gilbert and is about a lady who has just gone through a divorce and goes to find herself by spending a month in Italy, a month in India and a month in Indonesia and writes about it. I was trying to figure out if it was autobigraphical and whether she actually did this and I think she did. I mean how amazing a job is that. I'm going to go travelling, write about it and get paid for it! So I have decided my dream job is to be a travel writer. One of her other assignments she mentioned was go to a Spa in Bali and review it! I mean that is just a DREAM JOB. She didn't have any children and granted it would be difficult for me to do this job now. But how about travelling with children and testing out how family friendly lots of different countries are....now I just need a publisher to agree to give me a £10,000 advance mmmm
Save the date cards are getting there but as per my luck they proving a bit of a nightmare. The printers did email me back this morning and said they can do a proof 'probably friday', I mean how busy can a printers in Bromley be to print out one card??? Anyway, I'm going with it and you never know I might get them all printed on Friday or at least while we're away in Majorca next week.
Not much on the 'to do' list today as I was so productive yesterday with all my cooking! And I have already hoovered and cleaned the bathroom this morning! (second gold medal in the post!).
Favourite today is: Favourite book you've ever read - a difficult one, I really enjoyed White Teeth by Zadie Smith is it Zadie or Sadie? But there are probably loads of others I enjoyed just as much? I do love Wuthering Heights, more so since Tom Hardy did the TV adaptation. I could go on....
